A'auzu Bellahi mena alshaiytani alrajeem

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan

Besmi Ellahi Alrhmani Alraheem

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Ata amruo Allahi fa-la tasta'jeluhuo subhanahuo wa ta-ala amma youshrekuon (1).
The command of Allah is coming, so Do not hasten for it, Glory to be Him, and High is He above what they associate.

Younazzeluo almalaekata bel-ruohi men amrehi ala man yasha-uo men enbadehi an anzeruo annahuo la ilaha ella ana fa-ttaquon (2).
He sends down the Angels with the inspiration of His command upon whom He wills of His servants that warn that there is no god but Me, so Fear Me.

Khalaqa alsamawati wa alarda bel-haqqi ta-ala amma youshrekuon (3).
He created the heavens and the earth in truth, High is He above what they associate.

Khalaqa alinsana men nutfatin fa-iza huwa khaseemun mubeen (4).
He created man from a sperm-drop, then behold! He is a clear adversary.

Wa alana'ma khalaqaha lakum feeha def-on wa manafe-uo wa menha ta'kuluon (5).
And the cattle He has created for you, in them there are warmth and benefits and of them you eat.

Wa lakum feeha jamalun heena turehuona wa heena tasrahuon (6).
And for you in them there is beauty when you bring them in, and when you send them out.

Wa tahmeluo athqalakum ela baladin lam takunuo baleghehi ella be-sheqqi alanfusi inna Rabbakum lara-ufun Raheem (7).
And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves, indeed, your lord is Most Kind and Most Merciful.

Wa alkhaiyla wa albeghala wa alhameera le-tarkabuoha wa zeiynatan wa yakhluquo ma la ta'lamuon (8).
And the horses and mules and donkeys for you to ride them and adornment and He creates what you do not know.

Wa ala Allahi qasduo alsabeeli wa menha ja-eron wa laww sha-a la-hadakum ajma-een (9).
And upon Allah is the direction of the way, and among them are the deviated, and if He willed, He would have guided you all.

Huwa allazi anzala mena alsama-e ma-an lakum menhuo sharabun wa menhuo shajarun feehi tusemuon (10).
He is the One who sends down water from the sky from it is drink for you and from it are trees in which you pasture.

Yunbetuo lakum behi alzzar-a wa alzzaiytuna wa alnakheela wa al-a'naba wa men kulli althamarati inna fee zaleka la-ayatan le-qawmin yatafakkaruon (11).
He causes to grow for you thereby the crops and olives and palm trees, and grapes, and from all the fruits, indeed, in that is a sign for a people who give thought.

Wa sakhkhara lakumuo al-laila wa alnahara wa alshamsa wa alqamara wa alnujumuo musakhkharatun be-amrehi inna fee zaleka la-ayatin le-qawmin ya'qeluon (12).
And He has subjected for you the night and the day and the sun and the moon, and the stars are subjected by His command, indeed in that there are signs for a people who understand.

Wa ma zara-a lakum fee alardi mukhtalefan alwanuhuo inna fee zaleka la-ayatan le-qawmin yazzakkaruon (13).
And whatever He has multiplied for you on the earth of varying colors, indeed, in that there is a sign for a people who are reminded.

Wa huwa allazi sakhkhara albahra leta'kuluo menhuo lahman tariyyan wa tastakhrejuo menhuo helyatan talbasunaha wa tara alfulka mawakhera feehi wa le-tabtaghuo men fadlehi wa la-allakum tashkuruon (14).
And He is the One who has subjected the sea for you so that you may eat from it tender meat, and extract from it an ornaments that you wear them, and you see the ships cleaving it, and that you may seek of His bounty and that you may give thanks.

Wa alqa fee alardi rawasiya an tameeda bekum wa anharan wa subulan la-allakum tahtaduon (15).
And He cast in the earth firm mountains lest it shakes with you, and rivers and pathways so that you may be guided.

Wa alamatin wa bel-najmi hum yahtaduon (16).
And landmarks and by the stars they are guided.

Afa-man yakhluquo ka-man la yakhluquo afa-la tazakkaruon (17).
Then Is He who creates like one who does not create, so Will you not be reminded.

Wa in ta-udduo ne'mata  Allahi la tuhsuoha inna Allaha la-ghafurun Raheem (18).
And if you should count the favors of Allah, you could not enumerate them, indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Wa Allahu ya'lamuo ma tuserruona wa ma tu'lenuon (19).
And Allah knows what you conceal and what you declare.

Wa allazina yad-uona men duoni ellahi la yakhluquona shaiy-an wa hum youkhlaquon (20).
And those whom they invoke besides Allah do not create anything, and they are created.

Amwatun ghaiyruo ahya-in wa ma yash-uruona ayyana youb-athuon (21).
They are dead, not alive, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected.

Elahukum elahun wahedun fa-allazina la you'menuona bel-akherati qulubuhum munkeratun wa hum mustakberuon (22).
Your God is one God, but those who do not believe in the Hereafter, their hearts are disapproving and they are arrogant.

La jarama anna Allaha ya'lamuo ma youserruona wa ma you'lenuona innahuo la youhebbuo almustakbereen (23).
Assuredly, Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare, indeed, He does not like the arrogant.

Wa iza qeela lahum maza anzala Rabbukum qaluo asateeruo al-awwaleen (24).
And when it is said to them What has your Lord sent down?, they say the legends of the former people.

Le-yahmeluo awzarahum kamelatan yawma alqeiyamati wa men awzari allazina youdellunahum be-ghaiyri elmin ala sa-a ma yazeruon (25).
That they may bear their burdens in full on the day of resurrection, and some of the burdens of those whom they lead a stray without knowledge, unquestionably, evil is that which they bear.

Qad makara allazina men qablehim fa-ata Allahu bunyanahum mena alqawa-edi fa-kharra alaiyhumuo alsaqfuo men fawqehim wa atahumuo al-azabuo men haiythuo la yash-uruon (26).
Those before them had already plotted, but Allah came at their buildings from the foundations, so the roof fell down upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive.

Thumma yawma alqeiyamati youkhzehim wa yaquluo aiyna shuraka-eya allazina kuntum tushaqquona feehim qala allazina auto alelma inna alkhizya alyawma wa alsu-a ala alkafereen (27).
Then on the day of resurrection, He will disgrace them and say Where are My partners for whom you used to oppose?, those who were given the knowledge will say indeed, disgrace this day, and evil are upon the disbelievers

Allazina tatawaffahumuo almalaekatuo zalemi anfusehim fa-alqawuo alsalama ma kunna na'maluo men su-in bala inna Allaha Aleemun bema kuntum ta'maluon (28).
Those whom the Angels take in death while wrongdoing themselves, so they will offer submission we were not doing any evil, yes, indeed, Allah is All-Knower of what you used to do.

Fa-dkhuluo abwaba jahannama khaledeena feeha fala-be'sa mathwa almutakebbereen (29).
So Enter the gates of Hellfire, abiding therein forever, so wretched is the abode of the arrogant.

Wa qeela lel-llazina ettaqaww maza anzala rabbukum qaluo khaiyran, le-llazina ahsanuo fee hazehi alduonia hasanatun wa la-daruo al-akherati khaiyrun wa lane'ma daruo almuttaqeen (30).
And it will be said to those who fear What has your Lord sent down?, they will say good, for those who do good in this world is good, and the abode of the Hereafter is better, and excellent is the abode of the righteous.

Jannatuo adnin yadkhulunaha tajri men tahteha al-anharuo lahum feeha ma yasha-uona ka-zaleka yajzee ellahuo almuttaqeen (31).
Gardens of Eden which they will enter, beneath which rivers flow, for them therein will be whatever they wish, thus Allah rewards the righteous.

Allazina tatawaffahumuo almalaekatuo tayyibeena yaquluona salamun alaiykumuo edkhuluo aljannata bema kuntum ta'maluon (32).
Those whom the Angels take in death while they were pure, they will say peace be upon you, Enter Paradise for what you used to do.

Hal yanzuruona ella an ta'teiyahumuo almalaekatuo aww ya'tiya amruo Rabbeka kazaleka fa-ala allazina men qablehim wa ma zalamahumuo Allahu wa laken kanuo anfusahum yazlemuon (33).
Do they await except that the Angels should come to them or there comes the command of Your Lord?, thus, those before them did, and Allah did not wrong them, but they were wronging themselves.

Fa-asabahum sayyi-atuo ma ameluo wa haqa behim ma kanuo behi yastahze-uon (34).
So the evil of what they did befell them and they have been encircled by what they used to ridicule it.

Wa qala alazina ashrakuo laww shaa Allahu ma abadna men duonehi men shaiy-in nahnauo wa la aba-uona wa la harramna men duonehi men shaiy-in kazaleka fa-ala allazina men qablehim fa-hal ala alrusuli ella albalaghuo almubeen (35).
And those who associate said if Allah had willed, we would not have worshipped anything other than Him, neither we nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden anything through other than Him, thus did those before them, so Is there upon the Messengers except the clear conveyance.

Wa laqad ba-athna fee kulli aummatin rasulan ani e'buduo Allaha wa-jtanebuo alttaghuota fa-menhum man hada Allahu wa menhum man haqqat alaiyhi aldalalatuo fa-seeruo fee alardi fa-nzuruo kaiyfa kana aqebatuo almukazzebeen (36).
And indeed, We have sent into every nation a Messenger that Worship Allah and avoid the Taghut, and among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon them the error has become true, so Travel in the land and See how was the end of the deniers.

In tahres ala hudahum fa-inna Allaha la yahdi man youdelluo wa ma lahum men nasereen (37).
If You should strive for their guidance, then indeed, Allah does not guide those He lets go astray, and for them there are no helpers.

Wa aqsamuo be-llahi jahda  aymanehim la yab-athuo Allahu man yamutuo bala wa'dan alaiyhi haqqan wa lakenna akthara alnasi la ya'lamuon (38).
And they swore by Allah the strongest of their oaths that Allah will not resurrect he who dies, yes, a promise upon Him in truth, but most of the people do not know.

Le-youbayyina lahumuo allazi yakhtalefuona feehi wa leya'lama allazina kafaruo annahum kanuo kazebeen (39).
That He will make clear to them that wherein they differ, and that those who disbelieved may know that they were liars.

Innama qawluna le-shaiy-in iza aradnahuo an naqula lahuo kun fa-yakuon (40).
Indeed, Our word to a thing when We intend it is that We say to it Be and it comes to be.

Wa allazina hajaruo fee ellahi men ba'di ma zulemuo lanubawwe-annahum fee alduonya hasanatan wa la-ajruo alakherati akbaruo laww kanuo ya'lamuon (41).
And those who emigrated for the sake of Allah after they have been wronged, We will surely settle them in the world in a good place, but the reward of the Hereafter is greater if only they know.

Allazina sabaruo wa ala Rabbehim yatawakkaluon (42)
Those who are patient and put their trust upon their Lord.

Wa ma arsalna men qableka ella rejalan nuohi elaiyhim fas-aluo  alhla alzekri in kuntum la ta'lamuon (43).
And We did not send before You except men to whom We revealed, so Ask the people of reminder if you do not know.

Bel-bayyinati wa alzuburi wa anazalna eliyka alzekra le-tubayyina lel-nasi ma nuzzela elaiyhim wa la-allahum yatafakkaruon (44).
With clear proofs and the scriptures, and We revealed the reminder to You, so that You may make clear to the people what has been sent down to them and that they might give thought.

Afa-amena allazina makaruo alsayyi-ati an yakhsefa Allahu behemuo alarda aww ya'teyahumuo alazabuo men haiythuo la yash-uruon (45)
Then, Do those who have plotted the evil feel secure that Allah will cause the earth to swallow them, or the punishment will come to them from where they do not perceive?.

Aww ya'khuzahum fee taqallubehim fama hum be-mu'jezeen (46)
Or that He would seize them during their activity?, and they will not cause failure.

Aww ya'khuzahum ala takhawwufin fa-inna Rabbakum lara-ufun Raheem (47).
Or that He would seize them while they are in apprehension, but indeed, your Lord is Most Kind and Most Merciful.

Awa-lam yaraww ela ma khalaqa Allahu men shaiy-in yatafayya-uo zelaluhuo ani alyameeni wa alshama-eli sujjadan le-llahi wa hum dakheruon (48)
Do they not see what Allah has created of a thing?, their shadows incline to the right and to the left prostrating to Allah while they are humiliated.

Wa le-llahi yasjuduo ma fee alsamawati wa ma fee alardi men dabbatin wa almalaekatuo wa hum la yastakberuon (49).
And to Allah prostrate whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of a moving creature, and the Angels, and they are not arrogant.

Yakhafuona Rabbahum men fawqehim wa yaf'aluona ma you'maruon ۩(50).
They fear their Lord above them and they do what they are commanded.
۩- Prostration of recitation.

Wa qala Allahu la tattakhezuo elahaiyni ethnaiyni innama huwa elahun wahedun fa-iyyaya far-habuon (51).
And Allah has said Do not take two gods, He is only One god, so Fear Me.

Wa lahuo ma fee alsamawati wa alardi wa lahuo aldinuo waseban afa-ghaiyra Allahi tattaquon (52).
And To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is worship constantly, then Is it other than Allah that you fear?.

Wa ma bekum men ne'matin fa-mena Allahi thumma iza massakumuo aldurruo fa-elaiyhi taj-aruon (53).
And whatever you have of favor, it is from Allah, then when the adversity touches you, to Him you cry.

Thumma iza kashafa aldurra ankum iza fareequn menkum be-rabbehim youshrekuon (54).
Then when He removes the adversity from you, then behold! A party of you associates with their Lord.

Le-yakfuruo bema ataiynahum fa-tamatta-uo fa-sawfa ta'lamuon (55).
So they will deny what We have given them, then Enjoy for you will know.

Wa yaj'aluona lema la ya'lamuona naseeban memma razaqnahum ta-llahi la-tus'alunna amma kuntum taftaruon (56).
And they assign to what they do not know a share of that which We have provided them, by Allah you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent.

Wa yaj'aluona le-llahi albanati subhanahuo wa lahum ma yashtahuon (57).
And they assign daughters to Allah, glory to be Him, and for them is what they desire.

Wa iza bushshera ahaduhum bel-auntha zalla wajhuhuo muswaddan wa huwa kazeem (58).
And when one of them is given glad tidings of a female, his face becomes dark, and he filled with grief.

Yatawara mena alqawmi men su-e ma bushshera behi a-youmsekuhuo ala hunin am yadussuhuo fee alturabi ala sa-a ma yahkumuon (59)
He hides himself from the people because of the evil of what he has been given glad tidings of, Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the dust?, unquestionably, evil is what they decide.

Le-llazina la you'menuona bel-akherati mathaluo alsaw-e wa lellahi almathaluo ala'la wa huwa Alazeezu Alhakeem (60)
For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the attribute of evil, and for Allah is the highest attribute, and He is the Almighty, the All-Wise.

Wa laww you-azekhezuo Allahu alnasa be-zulmehim ma taraka alaiyha men dabbatin wa laken you-akhkheruhum ela ajalin musamman fa-iza ja-a ajaluhum la yasta'kheruona sa-atan wa la yastaqdemuon (61).
And if Allah were to seize the people for their wrongdoing, He would not have left any moving creature on it, but He delays them to an appointed time, then when their time comes, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede.

Wa yaj'aluona lellahi ma yakrahuona wa tasefuo alsenatuhumu alkazeba anna lahumuo alhusna la jarama anna lahumuo alnara wa annahum mufratuon (62).
And they assign to Allah what they dislike, and their tongues describe the lie that they will have the best, assuredly that the fire is for them, and they will be neglected.

Ta-llahi laqad arsalna ela aumammin men qableka fa-zaiyyana lahumuo alshaiytanuo a'malahum fa-huwa waliyyuhumuo alyawma wa lahum azabun aleem (63).
By Allah, We have certainly sent to nations before You, but Satan has adorned for them their deeds, so he is their guardian today, and for them there is a painful punishment.

Wa ma anzalna aliyka alketaba ella le-tubayyina lahumuo allazi ekhtalafuo feehi wa hudan wa rahmatan le-qawmin you'menuon (64).
And We have not sent down the book to You except that You make clear to them what they have differed therein, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe.

Wa Allahu anzala mena alsama-e ma-an fa-ahya behi alarda ba'da mawteha inna fee zaleka la-ayatan le-qawmin yasma-uon (65).
And Allah has sent down water from the sky, then revives thereby the earth after its death, indeed, in that there is a sign for a people who listen.

Wa inna lakum fee alan'ami la-ebratan nusqekum memma fee butunehi men baiyni farthin wa damin labanan khalesan sa-eghan lel-sharebeen (66).
And indeed, for you in the cattle is a lesson, We give you drink from what is in their bellies, from between dung and blood, pure milk, palatable to the drinkers.

Wa men thamarati alnakheeli wa ala'nabi tattakhezuona menhuo sakaran wa rezqan hasanan inna fee zaleka la-ayatan le-qawmin ya'qeluon (67).
And from the fruits of the palm trees and grapes you take from it intoxicant and good provision, indeed, in that there is a sign for a people who understand.

Wa awha Rabbuka ela alnahli ani ettakhezi mena aljebali buyutan wa mena alshajari wa memma ya'reshuon (68).
And Your Lord inspired to the bees that Take for yourself houses among the mountains, and among the trees, and in what they construct.

Thumma kuli men kulli althamarati fas-luki subula Rabbeki zulalan yakhrujuo men butuneha sharabun mukhtalefun alwanuhuo feehi shefa-on lel-nasi inna fee zaleka la-ayatan le-qawmin yatafakkaruon (69).
Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord, being subjected, there comes from their bellies a drink of varying colors, in which there is healing for the people, indeed, in that there is a sign for a people who give thought.

Wa Allahu khalaqakum thumma yatawaffakum wa menkum man youradduo ela arzali alumuri le-kaiy la ya'lama ba'da elmin shaiy-an inna Allaha aleemun qadeer (70).
And Allah created you, then He will take you in death, and among you there is he who is returned to the most abject age, so that he does not know anything after having knowledge, indeed, Allah is All-Knower, All-powerful.

Wa Allahu faddala  ba'dakum ala ba'din fee alrezqi fa-ma allazina fuddeluo be-raddi rezqehim ala ma malakat aymanuhum fa-hum feehi sawa-on afa-bene'mati Allahi yajhaduon (71).
And Allah has preferred some of you over others in provision, but those who were preferred would not hand over their provision to those whom their right hands possess so they would be equal to them therein, Do they then reject the favor of Allah?.

Wa Allahu ja-ala lakum men anfusekum azwajan wa ja-ala lakum men azwajekum baneena wa hafadatan wa razaqakum mena altayyibati afa-belbateli you'menuona wa bene'mati ellahi hum yakfuruon (72).
And Allah has made for you from yourselves spouses and has made for you from your spouses sons and grandchildren, and has provided for you from the good things, then Do they believe in the falsehood and in the favor of Allah they disbelieve?.

Wa ya'buduona men duoni ellahi ma la yamlekuo lahum rezqan mena alsamawati wa alardi shaiy-an wa la yastate-uon (73)
And they worship besides Allah what does not possess provision for them from the heavens and the earth, and they are not able.

Fa-la tadrebuo le-llahi alamthala inna Allaha ya'lamuo wa antum la ta'lamuon (74).
So Do not cite similitude to Allah, indeed, Allah knows and you do not know.

Daraba Allahu mathalan abdan mamlukan la yaqderuo ala shaiy-in wa man razaqnahuo menna rezqan hasanan fa-huwa younfequo menhuo serran wa jahran hal yastawuona alhamduo le-llahi nbal aktharuhum la ya'lamuon (75).
Allah cites the example of a slave owned and unable to do anything, and he whom We have provided from Us good provision, so he spends from it secretly and publicly, Can they be equal?, praise be to Allah, but most of them do not know.

Wa daraba Allahu mathalan rajulaiyni ahaduhuma abkamuo la yaqderuo ala shaiy-in wa huwa kallun ala mawlahuo aiynama youwajjihhuo la ya'ti be-khaiyrin hal yastawi huwa wa man ya'muruo bel-adli wa huwa ala seratin mustaqeem (76).
And Allah cites an example of two men, one of them is dumb and unable to do anything while he is a burden to his guardian, wherever he directs him, he brings no good, Does he equal to he who enjoins justice, while he is on a straight path?.

Wa le-llahi ghaiybuo alsamawati wa alardi wa ma amruo alsa-ati ella kalamhi albasari aww huwa aqrabuo inna Allaha ala kulli shaiy-in qadeer (77).
And to Allah belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth, and the command of the Hour is not but like the glance of the sight or even nearer, indeed, Allah is All-Powerful over everything.

Wa Allahu akhrajakum men butuoni aummahatekum la ta'lamuona shaiy-an wa ja-ala lakumuo alsam-a wa alabsara wa alaf-edata la-allakum tashkuruon (78).
And Allah has brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers knowing nothing, and He has made for you the hearing and the sight and the hearts so that you may give thanks.

Alam yaraww ela altaiyri musakhkharatin fee jawwi alsama-e ma youmsekuhunna ella Allahu inna fee zaleka la-ayatin le-qawmin you'menuon (79).
Do they not see that the birds are subjected in the atmosphere of the sky?, none holds them up except Allah, indeed, in that there are signs for a people who believe.

Wa Allahu ja-ala lakum men buyutekum sakanan wa ja-ala lakum men juludi alan'ami buyutan tastakheffunaha yawma za'nekum wa yawma eqamatekum wa men aswafeha wa awbareha wa ash-areha athathan wa mata-an ela heen (80).
And Allah has made for you from your houses a place of rest, and made for you from the hides of the cattle houses which you find light on your day of travel, and your day of encampment, and from their wool, and fur and hair is furnishing and enjoyment until a while.

Wa Allahu ja-ala lakum memma khalaqa zelalan wa ja-ala lakum mena aljebali aknanan wa ja-ala lakum sarabeela taqeekum alharra wa sarabeela taqeekum ba'sakum kazaleka youtemmu ne'matahuo alaiykum la-allakum tuslemuon (81).
And Allah has made for you from which He has created shades, and has made for you from the mountains shelters, and has made for you garments which protect you from the heat and garments which protect you from your battle, thus He completes His bounty upon you so that you may submit.

Fa-in tawallaww fa-innama alaiyka albalaghuo almubeen (82).
But if they turn away, then only upon You is the clear conveyance.

Ya'refuona ne'mata Allahi thumma younkerunaha wa aktharuhumuo alkaferuon (83).
They recognize the favor of Allah, then they deny it, and most of them are the disbelievers.

Wa yawma nab'athuo men kulli aummatin shaheedan thumma la you'zanuo le-llazina kafaruo wa la hum yousta'tabuon (84).
And the day when We will resurrect from every nation a witness, then it will not be permitted to the disbelievers, nor will they be asked to appease.

Wa iza ra-a allazina zalamuo alazaba fa-la youkhaffafuo anhum wa la hum younzaruon (85).
And when those who wronged see the punishment, it will not be lightened for them, nor will they be given any respite.

Wa iza ra-a allazina ashrakuo shuraka-ahum qaluo Rabbana haulae shuraka-uona allazina kunna nad-uo men duoneka fa-alqaww elaiyhimuo alqawla innakum la-kazebuon (86).
And when those who associated see their partners, they will say our Lord these are our partners whom we used to call besides You, but they will throw the saying at them, indeed, you are liars.

Wa alqaww ela Allahi yawma-izin alsalama wa dalla anhum ma kanuo yaftaruon (87).
And they will offer to Allah that day submission, and lost from them is that which they used to invent.

Allazina kafaruo wa sadduo an sabeeli ellahi zednahum azaban fawqa alazabi bema kanuo youfseduon (88).
And those who disbelieved and prevented from the way of Allah, We will increase them a punishment over the punishment for what corruption they were causing.

Wa yawma nab-athuo fee kulli aummatin shaheedan alaiyhim men anfusehim wa je'na beka shaheedan ala haulae wa nazzalna alaiyka alketaba tebyanan le-kulli shaiy-in wa hudan wa rahmatan wa bushra lel-muslemeen (89).
And the day when We will resurrect from every nation a witness over them from themselves, and We will bring You as a witness over these, and We have sent down to You the book as a clarification for everything and as a guidance and mercy and glad tidings for the Muslims.

Inna Allaha ya'muruo bel-adli wa alehsani wa eta-e zee alqurba wa yanha ani alfahsha-e wa almunkari wa albaghyi ya-ezukum la-allakum tazakkaruon (90)
Indeed, Allah enjoins the justice and the good, and giving the relatives, and forbids the immorality and the evil and the tyranny, and admonishes you so that you may be reminded.

Wa awfuo be-ahdi ellahi iza ahadtum wa la tanquduo al-aymana ba'da tawkedeeha wa qad ja-altum Allaha alaiykum kafeelan inna Allaha ya'lamuo ma taf'luon (91).
And fulfill the covenant of Allah when you have taken a covenant, and Do not break oaths after its confirmation, and verily, you have made Allah over you a surety, indeed, Allah knows what you are doing.

Wa la takunuo ka-llati naqadat ghazlaha men ba'di quwwatin ankathan tattakhezuona aymanakum dakhalan baiynakum an takuna aummatun hiya arba men aummatin innama yablukumuo Allahu behi wa la-yabayyinanna lakum yawma alqeiyamati ma kuntum feehi takhtalefuon (92).
And Do not be like she who untwisted her yarn after it was strong, taking your oaths as deceit between you because one community is more numerous than another community, Allah only tested you thereby, and He will surely make clear to you on the day of resurrection what you used to differ in it.

Simplified interpretation:

Surat Alnahl begins with a declaration that the day of resurrection is going to come and that Allah's message to all Messengers is one, which is to worship Him alone with no partner, then Allah reminds mankind of His blessings upon them as He has subjected everything for them, so that they may give reason and acknowledge Allah's greatness in the creation of everything, and if they were to count the favors of Allah, they could not enumerate them. Allah assures that whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of a moving creature and the Angels prostrate to Him, and they are not arrogant to worship Him, whereas the infidels recognize the favors of Allah, but they deny it, turn away from worshipping Allah alone out of their arrogance, make partners to Him, and ascribe for Him the daughters that they hated for themselves while ascribe for themselves the sons. Allah enjoins some good manners such as the justice, the good, giving the relatives, and fulfilling the covenant of Allah , and forbids bad manners such as the immorality, the evil, the oppression, and breaking the oaths. Allah also commanded the Muslims to eat lawful and good food, and not to eat the dead, the blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah.

Allah says in the first four verses (1-4) "The command of Allah is coming, so Do not hasten for it, Glory to be Him, and High is He above what they associate, He sends down the Angels with the inspiration of His command upon whom He wills of His servants that warn that there is no god but Me, so Fear Me, He created the heavens and the earth in truth, High is He above what they associate, He created man from a sperm-drop, then behold! He is a clear adversary", that is, Allah assures the people that His command of the day of resurrection is coming, so Do not hasten for it for it will inevitably happen, then Allah glorifies Himself and says Glory to be Him, and High is He above what they associate with Him of partners and idols. Allah is the One who sends down the Angels with the inspiration of His command upon whom He wills of His Prophets and Messengers in order to warn their people that there is no God but Allah , so Fear Allah's punishment for those who disobey His command and worship others than Him, then Allah confirms that He did not create the heavens and the earth in vain, rather He created them in truth, so He is the Creator with no partner, therefore, He deserves to be worshiped alone without any partner and High is He above what they associate with Him of false idols who do not possess anything in the heavens nor on the earth, and do not create anything, but rather they are created as will come later in Aya (20), and Allah has created man from a weak thing which is a sperm-drop, then he came to argue in the verses of Allah as if he has strong arguments and proofs, and denied the resurrection as he said Who will revive the bones when they are decayed?, as mentioned in Aya (78) of Surat Yaseen.

Allah says in the next three verses (5-7) "And the cattle He has created for you, in them there are warmth and benefits and of them you eat, and for you in them there is beauty when you bring them in, and when you send them out, and they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves, indeed, your lord is Most Kind and Most Merciful", that is, Allah cites some of His favors upon mankind as He is the One who has created the cattle like camels, cows, and goats, and He has subjected the cattle for them, so they make clothes from its wool to keep them warm, benefit from them as they fulfill their need for food, drink, tilling the land, furniture, and clothes, and eat of  their meat, and for mankind in them there is a beauty when they drive them home in the evening, and take them out to graze, and they fulfill other needs in carrying weights and traveling, where the camels carry their loads to a land they could not have reached except with difficulty to themselves, and Allah has subjected the cattle for mankind out of His Mercy and compassion for them, and some of them were assigned certain tasks like the camels for traveling and carrying the loads, and the cows for tilling the land, and Allah's Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) said in narration of Abu Hurayrah: "While a man is riding a cow, it turned towards him and said I have not been created for this (Carrying loads), the Prophet added I, Abu Bakr, and Umar believe that, and a wolf caught a sheep, and when the shepherd chased it, the wolf said Who will be its guard on the day the wild beasts, when there will be no shepherd for it except me? the Prophet said I, Abu Bakr, and Umar believe it" (Sahih Albukhari 2324).

Allah says in the next two verses (8,9) "And the horses and mules and donkeys for you to ride them and adornment and He creates what you do not know, and upon Allah is the direction of the way, and among them are the deviated, and if He willed, He would have guided you all", that is, among Allah's favors upon mankind is that He has created the horses, the donkeys, and the mules which are the product of mating a male donkey with a female horse, and Allah has subjected them for mankind, and assigned them for riding and adornment, so it is not permissible to eat donkeys and mules where as narrated by Ibn Abi Awfa: "We where afflicted with severe hunger on the day of Khaibar, while the cooking pots were boiling and some of the food was well-cooked, the announcer of the Prophet came to say Do not eat anything of the donkeys meat and throw it a way" (Sahih Albukhari 4220), but as narrated by Asma': "We slaughtered a horse and ate it during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger" (Sahih Muslim 1942), then Allah assures that He creates what they do not know; Because Allah has cited for them examples from the Arab environment, so it may mean that there are other animals for riding in other societies, or modern means of transportation such as planes, cars, and the like which their minds would not comprehend at that time. So Allah confirmed that upon Him is the direction of His way as He makes clear to the people the path of guidance and the path of misguidance through the clear proofs and arguments He revealed to His Messengers, so whomever follows the path of guidance, Allah makes the way of faith easy for him, but whoever follows the path of misguidance, the way of faith will be burdensome for him, so among these ways are the deviated from the truth and the path of guidance, and if Allah willed, He would have guided all mankind to the path of guidance, so they would not deviate from it.

Allah says in the next two verses (10,11) "He is the One who sends down water from the sky from it is drink for you and from it are trees in which you pasture, He causes to grow for you thereby the crops and olives and palm trees, and grapes, and from all the fruits, indeed, in that is a sign for a people who give thought", that is, among Allah's favors upon mankind is that He has sent down rain from the sky from it they drink, and from it are trees in which they pasture their cattle, and that He causes to grow by the rain the crops, olives, palm trees, grapes, and from all the fruits in different types, tastes, colours, smells and shapes, and in that there is a sign for a people who give thought as they will reflect and know that Allah is the Creator of everything and it is not for them that they cause to grow its trees as mentioned in Aya (60) of Surat Alnaml.

Allah says in the next two verses (12,13) "And He has subjected for you the night and the day and the sun and the moon, and the stars are subjected by His command, indeed in that there are signs for a people who understand, and whatever He has multiplied for you on the earth of varying colors, indeed, in that there is a sign for a people who are reminded", that is, among Allah's favors upon mankind is that He has subjected the night and the day in succession so that they may rest in the night, and spread out for their livelihood during the day, He has subjected the sun and the moon so that they may know the number of days, months and years, and He has subjected the stars by His command so that they may be guided by them through the darknesses of the land and the sea, and in that there are signs of Allah's power and authority for a people who understand Allah's proofs and argument. And among Allah's favors upon mankind is that He has multiplied on the earth of varying colors in which there are many benefits, including animals, minerals, plants and inanimate objects of various colors and shapes, and in that there is a sign for a people who are reminded by Allah's blessings and favors, so they offer gratitude to Him.

Allah says in the next verse (14) "And He is the One who has subjected the sea for you so that you may eat from it tender meat, and extract from it an ornaments that you wear them, and you see the ships cleaving it, and that you may seek of His bounty and that you may give thanks", that is, among Allah's favors upon mankind is that He has subjected the sea for them as they eat from it tender meat of fish and seafood; because whatever the age of the fish is, it remains a tender and soft meat and does not take much time to be cooked compared to the animal meat which gets tougher and increases in cooking as the age of the animal increases, so glory to be Allah, in addition to, mankind extract ornaments that they wear from the sea like the pearl and the coral as mentioned in Surat Alrahman Aya (22), and you see the ships cleaving the water of the sea, so that mankind may seek Allah's bounty whether by travelling across the sea for trade from one place to another or by fishing and extracting ornaments, and that mankind may give thanks to Allah, the One who has subjected the sea for them.

Allah says in the next three verses (15-17) "And He cast in the earth firm mountains lest it shakes with you, and rivers and pathways so that you may be guided, and landmarks and by the stars they are guided, then Is He who creates like one who does not create, so Will you not be reminded", that is, among Allah's favors upon mankind is that He has cast firm mountains in the earth lest it shakes with the people, and Allah has made rivers that flow from one place to another, and made therein wide paths from region to region and one country to another so that they may be guided by it, and landmarks which travelers by land and sea can use as a sign if they lose their way, and they are also guided by the stars in the darknesses of the land and the sea, then Allah says as a denunciation Is Allah who creates everything like the idols whom they worship which create nothing, but rather they are created, so Will they not be reminded, and acknowledge Allah's ability, and the weakness of the false idols that do not harm nor benefit them.

Allah says in the next four verses (18-21) "And if you should count the favors of Allah, you could not enumerate them, indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful, and Allah knows what you conceal and what you declare, and those whom they invoke besides Allah do not create anything, and they are created, they are dead, not alive, and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected", that is, Allah has only cited some of His favor upon mankind in the previous verses, but if they should count the favors of Allah, they could not enumerate them, and they will not thank him for these blessings as He deserves, and Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful for those who repent, believe, and do righteous deeds, and Allah knows what you conceal and what you declare of your deeds, good and evil, so He will recompense each for his deeds on the day of resurrection, then Allah assures that the idols whom the polytheists invoke besides Allah do not create anything in the heavens nor on the earth, but rather they are created and they are inanimate objects that do not hear nor see, and they do not know when the day of resurrection will come, so they do not perceive when they will be resurrected.

Allah says in the next two verses (22,23) "Your God is one God, but those who do not believe in the Hereafter, their hearts are disapproving and they are arrogant, assuredly, Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare, indeed, He does not like the arrogant", that is, Allah assures that there is no God but Him, but the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter deny that, and turned away from the right path out of their arrogance, thereupon, Allah assures that He knows what they conceal and what they declare, and He does not like the arrogant who turn away from the path of guidance.

Allah says in the next two verses (24,25) "And when it is said to them What has your Lord sent down?, they say the legends of the former people, that they may bear their burdens in full on the day of resurrection, and some of the burdens of those whom they lead a stray without knowledge, unquestionably, evil is that which they bear", that is, when it is said to those who do not believe in the Hereafter What has your Lord sent down?, they claim that the Holy Quran is nothing but the legends of the former people that pass from one generation to another and it has no reality, so they prevent others from the way of Allah, thereupon, they will bear their burdens in full on the day of resurrection, and will carry some of the burdens of their followers along with their burdens without detracting anything of the burdens of their followers whom they mislead without knowledge, then Allah assures that it is evil is that which they bear, and Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said in narration of Abu Hurayrah: "Whoever calls people to true guidance will have a reward equal to that of those who follow him, and that does not detract anything of their reward, and whoever calls people to misguidance will have a sin equal to that of those who follow him, and that does not detract anything of their sins" (Sahih Muslim 2674), and He also said in narration of Abdullah Bin Mas'ud: ''No person who is killed unjustly, but the share falls upon the first son of Adam for He was the first to introduce killing" (Sahih Albukhari 7321).

Allah says in the next two verses (26,27) "Those before them had already plotted, but Allah came at their buildings from the foundations, so the roof fell down upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive, then on the day of resurrection, He will disgrace them and say Where are My partners for whom you used to oppose?, those who were given the knowledge will say indeed, disgrace this day, and evil are upon the disbelievers", that is, Allah cites an example for the polytheists of Quraish who deny the resurrection and prevented others from the way of Allah and says that the disbelievers before them had plotted a plot by day and night in order to prevent their followers from the way of Allah, but Allah nullified their deeds and uprooted it from its roots, and destroyed them like a building that is struck from its foundation, then it collapses and the roof falls down upon them from above them, and its inhabitants die under its rubble, so the punishment came to them in the worldly life from where they did not perceive, then on the day of resurrection, the humiliation will be theirs as Allah will disgrace them and punish them with a severe punishment in Hellfire, and will ask the disbelievers about the false gods and idols they worshipped besides Him, and used to oppose and fight His Messengers for their sake, so Why didn't they come to their aid and save them from the torment?, but these idols will not respond to them even if they ask for their help, thereupon, those who were given the knowledge and were certain that the promise of Allah is true will say that disgrace and severe punishment in Hellfire are upon those who disbelieved in Allah and made equals for Him.

Allah says in the next two verses (28,29) "Those whom the Angels take in death while wrongdoing themselves, so they will offer submission we were not doing any evil, yes, indeed, Allah is All-Knower of what you used to do, so Enter the gates of Hellfire, abiding therein forever, so wretched is the abode of the arrogant", that is, Allah tells about the condition of the polytheists at the time of death when the Angels will come to take their souls while they are wrongdoers to themselves with disbelief, arrogance, and stubbornness, so they will offer obedience and submission saying we were not doing any evil, but Allah says as a denial of their saying yes you were doing evil and indeed, Allah is All-Knower of what they used to do of disbelief and tyranny, then it will be said to them on the day of resurrection "Enter the gates of Hellfire, abiding therein forever", so how wretched is the abode in which there is humiliation and severe punishment for those who were arrogant to follow the truth from their Lord.

Allah says in the next three verses (30-32) "And it will be said to those who fear What has your Lord sent down?, they will say good, for those who do good in this world is good, and the abode of the Hereafter is better, and excellent is the abode of the righteous, Gardens of Eden which they will enter, beneath which rivers flow, for them therein will be whatever they wish, thus Allah rewards the righteous, those whom the Angels take in death while they were pure, they will say peace be upon you, Enter Paradise for what you used to do", that is, contrary to the condition of the disbelievers who denied the Holy Quran, when the believers who fear Allah were asked about what Allah has sent down to them, they believed in the Holy Quran and acknowledged that Allah has sent down good and mercy to them, so Allah assures that those who do good in the worldly life and believed in Him, His Messengers, and His books will have good in the worldly life and the Hereafter, and the abode of the Hereafter is better; For the reward they will receive in the Hereafter is better and more lasting, and excellent is the abode of the righteous who fear Allah and fear His punishment by obeying His commands and avoiding His prohibitions, so they will enter Gardens of Eden beneath which rivers flow, and Eden is one of the names of Paradise, for them therein will be whatever they wish of bliss and what their souls desire, and what delights their eyes, thus Allah rewards the righteous, and at the time of death, the Angels will take their souls while they are pure of polytheism, filth, and evil deeds, they will greet them with peace and they will give them glad tidings of Paradise as a reward of what they used to do in the worldly life saying "Peace be upon you, Enter Paradise for what you used to do".

Allah says in the next two verses (33,34) "Do they await except that the Angels should come to them or there comes the command of Your Lord?, thus, those before them did, and Allah did not wrong them, but they were wronging themselves, so the evil of what they did befell them and they have been encircled by what they used to ridicule it", that is, Allah says as a threat for the disbelievers who persist on disbelief Do they await except that the Angels should come to take their souls in death, or there comes the command of Allah of the day of resurrection, then the punishment will be present before their eyes, thus their ancestors did and continued in their polytheism till the Angels took them in death, and awaits them a painful torment in the Hereafter, and Allah did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves with disbelief and disobedient, so they deserved the torment, and the bad consequence of their evil deeds in the worldly life will befall them in the Hereafter, and they will be surrounded by what they were mocking of Allah's torment, therefore, it will be said to them on the day of resurrection "This is the Fire which you used to deny" as mentioned in Aya (14) of Surat Altuor.

Allah says in the next verse (35) "And those who associate said if Allah had willed, we would not have worshipped anything other than Him, neither we nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden anything through other than Him, thus did those before them, so Is there upon the Messengers except the clear conveyance", that is, those who worship idols and false gods besides Allah said if Allah has willed, they and their fathers would not have worshipped anything other than Allah, nor would they have forbidden anything through other than Him as they used to vow some cattle to their false idols, so they did not drink their milk or ride it as mentioned in Aya (103) of Surat Alma'idah, so they claimed that if Allah was averse of what they did, He would not have enabled them to do so, and would have imposed the punishment on them, thereupon, Allah assures that their ancestors said the same as they said, and they follow their footsteps, then Allah responded to their claim and said Is there upon the Messengers except the clear conveyance, so they have to convey Allah's message to them and they will bear the result of their disbelief and denial.

Allah says in the next two verses (36,37) "And indeed, We have sent into every nation a Messenger that Worship Allah and avoid the Taghut, and among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon them the error has become true, so Travel in the land and See how was the end of the deniers, if You should strive for their guidance, then indeed, Allah does not guide those He lets go astray, and for them there are no helpers'', that is, Allah has sent into every nation a Messenger in order to call the people to worship Allah alone, and to avoid the Taghut which is every god other than Allah such as the false idols, false gods, and accursed Satan, so among them were those whom Allah guided to the path of faith, and among them were those upon them the misguidance has become true, so they opposed Allah's Messengers, and deviated from the path of guidance, so Allah punished them with a sever punishment in the worldly life, therefore, He says Travel in the land in order to see the end of the deniers who disbelieved in Allah and denied their Messengers, and what befell them of torment and destruction as the people of Quraish used to pass by the tracks of the people of the Prophet Lot in the morning and at night as mentioned in Ayat (137,138) of Surat Alsaffat. So Allah addresses His Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) and says if You should strive for their guidance, then Allah does not guide those He lets go astray, You just have to convey the message of Allah, and Allah guides whom He wills and lets go astray whom He wills, and the disbelievers will not find any helper in order to save them from Allah's punishment.

Allah says in the next three verses (38-40) "And they swore by Allah the strongest of their oaths that Allah will not resurrect he who dies, yes, a promise upon Him in truth, but most of the people do not know, that He will make clear to them that wherein they differ, and that those who disbelieved may know that they were liars, indeed, Our word to a thing when We intend it is that We say to it Be and it comes to be", that is, the polytheists of Quraish ruled out the occurrence of the day of resurrection and swore by Allah the strongest of their oaths that Allah will not resurrect anyone after death, but Allah refutes their claim and says that the resurrection is a true promise upon Him, but most of the people do not know, so they do not believe, and deny the Messengers of Allah , and Allah's Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) said in narration of Abu Hurayrah: "Allah said the son of Adam tells a lie against Me though he has no right to do so, and he abuses Me though he has no right to do so, as for his telling a lie against Me, it is that he claimed that I cannot recreate him as I created him before, and as for his abusing Me, it is his statement that I have a son, so glorified to be Me! I am far from taking a wife or a son" (Sahih Albukhari (4482). So the day of resurrection will inevitably happen so that Allah will make clear to mankind that wherein they differ of the resurrection and reckoning, and that the disbelievers may know that they were liars about Allah's ability to resurrect them after their death, then Allah assures that He is Able to do whatever He wills, so He commands anything once for He does not need to repeat, He just says to anything Be, and it comes to be, so their resurrection will be with one shout, then they all will be brought before Him as mentioned in Aya (53) of Surat Yaseen.

Allah says in the next two verses (41,42) "And those who emigrated for the sake of Allah after they have been wronged, We will surely settle them in the world in a good place, but the reward of the Hereafter is greater if only they know, those who are patient and put their trust upon their Lord", that is,  those who went out as emigrants in the way of Allah, and left their homelands, families, and friends after they have been wronged for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, and for the support of Allah's religion, Allah has promised them a good place in the worldly life as they left their homes and their money, and Allah compensated them with something is better in the worldly life, but the reward of the Hereafter and the bliss that awaits them is better than the pleasures of the worldly life, if only they know, then Allah describes them and says those who are patient over the harm they met for the sake of Allah and establishing the religion, they put their trust in Allah alone, and rely upon Him in all their affairs.

Allah says in the next two verses (43,44) "And We did not send before You except men to whom We revealed, so Ask the people of reminder if you do not know, with clear proofs and the scriptures, and We revealed the reminder to You, so that You may make clear to the people what has been sent down to them and that they might give thought", that is, Allah assures His Messenger that all the Messengers who came before Him were human beings and none of them was an Angels, and Allah has revealed His message to them in order to convey it to His servants, so if you do not know, then Ask the people of reminder before you such as the Jews and the Christians Were the Messengers who came to them human beings or Angels? unquestionably, they were human beings, so Allah's Messengers were human beings who used to eat food and walk in the markets as mentioned in Aya (20) of Surat Alfurqan, and Allah has sent them with clear proofs, arguments, and scriptures, then Allah assures His Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) that He has sent down the Holy Quran to Him in order to make clear to the people what has been revealed to them therein of rulings, promises and threat through His words and actions, and to explain what has not been detailed in the Holy Quran such as the rulings of the prayer, Zakah, Hajj, and many other things, so that they may give thought and be reminded by it.

Allah says in the next three verses (45-47) "Then, Do those who have plotted the evil feel secure that Allah will cause the earth to swallow them, or the punishment will come to them from where they do not perceive?, Or that He would seize them during their activity?, and they will not cause failure, Or that He would seize them while they are in apprehension, but indeed, your Lord is Most Kind and Most Merciful", that is, Allah threatens the polytheists who plotted the evil and prevented others from the way of Allah saying Are they immune of Allah's punishment if He caused the earth to swallow them like Qarun as mentioned in Aya (81) of Surat Alqasas, or the punishment will come to them suddenly while they do not realize, or that Allah would seize them during their activity in livelihood and their preoccupation with it, such as travel and other works, and they can not cause failure on the earth nor can they escape from Allah's authority, or that He would seize them while they fear that He will take them to death as He took those around them, but out of Allah's Mercy and compassion for them, He will not hasten the punish for them in the worldly life, but He will delay it till the day of resurrection, and then He will punish those who persist on disbelief with a painful punishment.

Allah says in the next three verses (48-50) "Do they not see what Allah has created of a thing?, their shadows incline to the right and to the left prostrating to Allah while they are humiliated, and to Allah prostrate whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of a moving creature, and the Angels, and they are not arrogant, they fear their Lord above them and they do what they are commanded", that is, Do those who plotted evil not see that all things have submitted to Allah, and that everything which has a shadow of a standing body whether a tree, a mountain, or something else prostrate to Allah morning and afternoon when its shadow inclines to the right and the left at sunrise and sunset, so the shadow of all things is a prostration before Allah while they are humiliated, then Allah assures that whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of a moving creature and the Angels prostrate before Him and they are not arrogant to worship Him, they prostrate in fear of Allah and they do what they are commanded lest Allah's punishment befalls them.

Allah says in the next two verses (51,52) "And Allah has said Do not take two gods, He is only One god, so Fear Me, and To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is worship constantly, then Is it other than Allah that you fear?", that is, Allah commands His servants to singled Him out of monotheism and Divinity, and forbade them from polytheism and associating another god with Him saying "Do not take two gods, He is only One god", so He commanded His servant to fear Him lest His punishment befalls them, thereupon, Allah is the Creator of everything, and He alone is worthy of worship, and to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and to Him is worship, obedience, and sincerity constantly and forever, then Is it other than Allah that you fear and submit to him while he does not possess anything in the heavens nor on the earth.

Allah says in the next three verses (53-55) "And whatever you have of favor, it is from Allah, then when the adversity touches you, to Him you cry, then when He removes the adversity from you, then behold! A party of you associates with their Lord, so they will deny what We have given them, then Enjoy for you will know", that is, Allah assures that whatever His servants have of provision, blessings, well-being is from Allah's favor and benevolence towards them, but mankind usually deny Allah's blessings upon them and only remembers Him in times of hardships, so when the adversity touches them, they cry out and seek help from Allah alone, then when He removes the adversity from them, they do not offer gratitude to Him as He deserves, but rather a group of them associates other gods and idols with Allah, so they deny what Allah has given them, thereupon, Allah threatens them and says to them Enjoy in the worldly life till the time of death, and they will know the consequence of their denial on the day of resurrection.

Allah says in the next two verses (56,57) "And they assign to what they do not know a share of that which We have provided them, by Allah you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent, and they assign daughters to Allah, glory to be Him, and for them is what they desire", that is, the polytheists who associate other gods and idols with Allah assign to their false gods that do not know and do not possess any harm or benefit for them a portion of what Allah has provided them of the cattle and the crops, so Allah swore by Himself that He will ask them on the day of resurrection about what they used to invent of lies and falsehood, and He will punish them with a severe punishment in Hellfire, then Allah assures that they attributes daughters to Him as they made the Angels, who are the servants of Allah, females, and they claimed that they are the daughters of Allah, then they worshipped them as mentioned in Ayat (19,20) of Surat Alzukhruf, thereupon, Allah absolves Himself from having a son and says ''Glory to be Him", and they choose for them males and hate girls whom they attribute to Allah.

Allah says in the next two verses (58,59) "And when one of them is given glad tidings of a female, his face becomes dark, and he filled with grief, He hides himself from the people because of the evil of what he has been given glad tidings of, Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the dust?, unquestionably, evil is what they decide", that is, they do not accept girls for themselves and when one of them is given good tidings of girls which he attributed to Allah, his face becomes black and he filled with grief of the ill of which he has been informed, and he hides himself from the people because of the evil of what he has been given good tidings of, Should he keep his daughter in humiliation and disgrace as he will not take care of her and will prefer his male children over her or Should he bury her alive in the dust as they used to do in Pre-Islamic era, unquestionably, evil is what they decide.

Allah says in the next two verses (60,61) "For those who do not believe in the Hereafter is the attribute of evil, and for Allah is the highest attribute, and He is the Almighty, the All-Wise, and if Allah were to seize the people for their wrongdoing, He would not have left any moving creature on it, but He delays them to an appointed time, then when their time comes, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede", that is, those who do not believe in the Hereafter have attributed to Allah what they hated for themselves, so Allah assures that for them is the attribute of evil, and for Allah is the highest attribute; Because Allah does not need a son or a wife or any example that implies a deficiency or likeness to His creation, and Allah is the Almighty who is Severe in His revenge on those who disobeyed Him, the All-Wise who manages His creation with wisdom in His laws and destiny. But Allah tells about His mercy upon His creation and says if He were to punish the people for their disbelief and denial, He would destroy all creatures and there would not be any living creature left on the surface of the earth, so Allah does not hasten the punishment for them, but rather He delays them to an appointed term which is the term of their death or the day of resurrection, then when their time comes, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede.

Allah says in the next three verses (62-64) "And they assign to Allah what they dislike, and their tongues describe the lie that they will have the best, assuredly that the fire is for them, and they will be neglected, bAllah, We have certainly sent to nations before You, but Satan has adorned for them their deeds, so he is their guardian today, and for them there is a painful punishment, and We have not sent down the book to You except that You make clear to them what they have differed therein, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe", that is, those who do not believe in the Hereafter assign to Allah the daughters they dislike, and their tongues describe the lie that they will have the best in the Hereafter as the disbeliever claims that if there is a resurrection, then Allah will do good to him in the Hereafter as He has done good to him in the worldly life as mentioned in Aya (50) of Surat Fussilat, thereupon, Allah assures them that they will enter Hellfire on the day of resurrection, and they will be neglected therein for it will be said to them "Today We forget you as you forgot the meeting of this day of yours" as mentioned in Aya (34) of Surat Aljathiyah, then Allah swears by Himself in order to assure His Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) that He has sent His Messengers to nations before Him, but Satan has adorned for them their evil deeds, so he prevented them from the way of Allah, thereupon, He will be their guardian on the day of resurrection, but he will not be able to save them from Allah's punishment, so for them there is a painful torment in Hellfire, then Allah assures His Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) that He has not sent down the Holy Quran to Him except that He makes clear to the people what they have differed therein regarding the religion of Allah, and the Holy Quran is a guidance and a mercy for the believers as they believe in it, follow its commands, and act according to its rulings and prohibitions.

Allah says in the next three verses (65-67) "And Allah has sent down water from the sky, then revives thereby the earth after its death, indeed, in that there is a sign for a people who listen, and indeed, for you in the cattle is a lesson, We give you drink from what is in their bellies, from between dung and blood, pure milk, palatable to the drinkers, and from the fruits of the palm trees and grapes you take from it intoxicant and good provision, indeed, in that there is a sign for a people who understand", that is, Allah cites some of His blessings upon mankind and assures that He is the One who sends down water from the sky, then He revives thereby the earth after its death, then it brings forth its vegetation, fruits and crops, and in that there is a sign for a people who listen to Allah's proofs and arguments for they will acknowledge that Allah is Able to revive them after their death on the day of resurrection, then Allah assures that there is a lesson for mankind in the cattle, which are camels, cows, and sheep, as Allah gives them drink from what is in their bellies, from between dung and blood, pure milk, each flows in its place, when the food is digested in its stomach, blood flows from it to the veins, milk to the udder, urine to the bladder, and dung to the anus, and each of them does not taint or mix with the other, Milk is a lesson that indicates Allah's ability to extract pure milk, palatable for drinkers, from between two filthy things. And Allah has bestowed upon mankind the fruits of palm trees and grapes, so they made from it what is forbidden and intoxicant like alcohol, and what is lawful such as fresh fruits, dates and raisins, and in that there is a sign for a people who understand and reflect on Allah's Ability and greatness.

Allah says in the next two verses (68,69) "And Your Lord inspired to the bees that Take for yourself houses among the mountains, and among the trees, and in what they construct, then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord, being subjected, there comes from their bellies a drink of varying colors, in which there is healing for the people, indeed, in that there is a sign for a people who give thought", that is, among Allah's blessings upon mankind is that He has inspired to the bees to take a shelter in the mountains, the trees, and in what mankind construct, and one of the amazing things that Allah inspired them to make their houses hexagonal in shape, and they are so perfect that there is no defect between them, so they are connected until they become like one piece. Then Allah ordered the bees to eat from all the fruits, and to follow the ways of Allah that He has made it easy for them for they fly long distances between valleys and high mountains, then return to their place and home, not deviating from it to the right or the left, from their bellies emerges honey of various colors like white, yellow, red, and other beautiful colours, depending on their pastures and the food they eat from.

Allah has made a healing for the people in the honey, and as narrated by Abu Sa'id Alkhudri: "A man came to the Prophet (PBUH) and said my brother has some abdominal trouble, the Prophet said to him Let him drink honey, the man came for the second time, and the Prophet said to him Let him drink honey, he came for the third time and the Prophet said Let him drink honey, he returned again and said I have done that, the Prophet then said Allah has said the truth, but your brother's abdomen has told a lie Let him drink honey, so he made him drink honey and he was cured" (Sahih Albukhari 5684), and Allah's Messenger used to love sweet edible things and honey as narrated by Aisha (Sahih Albukhari 5431). And as narrated by Ibn Abbas that Allah's Messenger said: "Healing is in three things, a gulp of honey, cupping, and branding with fire, but I forbid My Ummah to used branding with fire" (Sahih Albukhari 5680). And in that there is a sign for a people who give thought about Allah's ability to subject a weak creature to produce the most delicious food and the most useful medicine. Thereupon Allah's Messenger forbids killing the bees where as narrated by Ibn Abbas: "The Prophet prohibited to kill four creatures: ants, bees, hoopoes, and sparrow-hawks" (Sunan Abu Dawood 5267).

Allah says in the next two verses (70,71) "And Allah created you, then He will take you in death, and among you there is he who is returned to the most abject age, so that he does not know anything after having knowledge, indeed, Allah is All-Knower, All-powerful, And Allah has preferred some of you over others in provision, but those who were preferred would not hand over their provision to those whom their right hands possess so they would be equal to them therein, then, Do they then reject the favor of Allah?" that is, Allah has created human beings, and He is the One who will cause them to die, and some of you die before reaching the old age while some of you will be returned to the most abject age which is old age and dementia so that they do not know anything after having knowledge, and Allah is All-Knower of His creation and what is suitable for them, All-Powerful who is Able to do whatever He wills. Allah assures that He has favored some of mankind over others in provision regarding the worldly life as there were the poor and the rich, the wretched and the happy, and the healthy and the sick, but those who were preferred would not give their provision to those whom their right hand possess lest their slaves share them in provision and be equal to them, so Allah said Do they reject the favor of Allah?, as instead of thanking Allah for His blessings upon them, they assign to Allah what they do not like for themselves of partners and equals.

Allah says in the next three verses (72-74) "And Allah has made for you from yourselves spouses and has made for you from your spouses sons and grandchildren, and has provided for you from the good things, then Do they believe in the falsehood and in the favor of Allah they disbelieve?, and they worship besides Allah what does not possess provision for them from the heavens and the earth, and they are not able, so Do not cite similitude to Allah, indeed, Allah knows and you do not know", that is, among Allah's blessings upon human beings is that He has created from themselves wives, where Allah created Eve from Adam, then He made their progeny males and females, and granted them grandchildren, thereupon, the mate of a human being is of the same species as he, and it is impossible for a human being to marry from the world of the Jinn as some claim, and Allah has provided for mankind of the good things of crops, fruits, meat, milk, and other delicious and desirable things, then Do the polytheists believe in the false idols and gods, and disbelieve in the favor of Allah and attribute it to other than Him?, as they worship besides Allah false gods that do not possess any provision for them from the heavens and the earth for they are not able to bring down rain or grow plants or trees, and they do not have the power to do so, thereupon, Allah commanded mankind not to make partners and equals to Him, and Allah knows that there is no God but Him and you associate others with Him out of your ignorance, and He is the Creator and the Sustainer with no partner, and yet you worship false idols and gods other than Him, and make equals to Him.

Allah says in the next two verses (75,76) "Allah cites the example of a slave owned and unable to do anything, and he whom We have provided from Us good provision, so he spends from it secretly and publicly, Can they be equal?, praise be to Allah, but most of them do not know, and Allah cites an example of two men, one of them is dumb and unable to do anything while he is a burden to his guardian, wherever he directs him, he brings no good, Does he equal to he who enjoins justice, while he is on a straight path?", that is, Allah cites two examples of the conditions of the disbelievers with the idols that they worship, and the conditions of the believers with their Lord. The first example is that the disbeliever in his worship of idols is like an owned slave who is not able to do anything, even though Allah has provided him with wealth, but he does not acknowledge Allah's favor, nor does he spend in the way of Allah, nor does he act in obedience to Allah, but the believer acknowledges Allah's favor upon him, spends in the way of Allah secretly and openly, and acts in obedience to Allah, thereupon, Allah says Can the disbeliever and the believer be equal?, unquestionably, they are not equal therefore Allah says praise be to Allah, but most of them do not know as Allah alone is worthy of praise, and the idols they worship besides Him have no favor upon them, but the disbelievers offer gratitude to them out of their ignorance.

The second example is that the disbeliever in his worship of idols is like the dumb who does not say anything, nor does he enjoin good, nor does he forbid evil, so he is not able to do anything completely, and he is a burden to his guardian as wherever he directs him, he does not bring good nor does his effort succeed; Because he cannot express what he wants, so he does not understand, and he cannot be understood. So Does the disbeliever equal to the believer who enjoins justice and he is on a straight path from his Lord?, unquestionably, they are not equal for Allah will reward the believer with paradise on the day of resurrection, and will punish the disbeliever with a severe punishment in Hellfire.

Allah says in the next two verses (77,78) "And to Allah belongs the unseen of the heavens and the earth, and the command of the Hour is not but like the glance of the sight or even nearer, indeed, Allah is All-Powerful over everything, and Allah has brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers knowing nothing, and He has made for you the hearing and the sight and the hearts so that you may give thanks", that is, Allah assures that He has the unseen of the Heavens and the earth as nothing is hidden from Him in both of them, and that the command of the day of resurrection (The Hour) will be once, as fast as the glance of sight, neither slow nor delayed or it will be nearer than the glace of the sight, indeed, Allah is All-Powerful over everything as He is All-powerful to do whatever He wills, and neither impediment nor inability can prevent Him from doing whatever He wills. And among Allah's favor upon mankind is that He has brought them forth from the wombs of their mothers as children who know nothing, then He gave them the hearing by which they hear voices, the sight by which they see and recognize the world around them, and the hearts by which they know and reflect on all things, and Allah has bestowed His favor upon them so that they may give thanks to Allah and acknowledge His Oneness.

Allah says in the next two verses (79,80) "Do they not see that the birds are subjected in the atmosphere of the sky?, none holds them up except Allah, indeed, in that there are signs for a people who believe, and Allah has made for you from your houses a place of rest, and made for you from the hides of the cattle houses which you find light on your day of travel, and your day of encampment, and from their wool, and fur and hair is furnishing and enjoyment until a while", that is, Allah urges mankind to look at the birds as He has subjected them in the atmosphere of the sky, so they fly in flocks while lining up in rows, and sometimes hold back from flying as mentioned in Aya (19) of Surat Almulk, and none hols them up in the sky except Allah by the capabilities He gave them to do that, and in that there are signs for the believers; For they will acknowledge Allah's great ability, and that He is All-powerful over every thing. And among Allah's blessings upon mankind is that He has made for them houses for long-term residence in which they rest, and Allah has made for them from the hides of the cattle tents which are easy to carry on their travel, and the day of their encampment in the desert and moving from one place to another, and Allah has made for them from the wool of the sheep, the fur of the camels, the hair of the goats furnishing and enjoyment like furniture, clothes, and wealth, so Allah cites for them examples from their environment that they will benefit from until the time of their death.

Allah says in the next three verses (81-83) "And Allah has made for you from which He has created shades, and has made for you from the mountains shelters, and has made for you garments which protect you from the heat and garments which protect you from your battle, thus He completes His bounty upon you so that you may submit, but if they turn away, then only upon You is the clear conveyance, they recognize the favor of Allah, then they deny it, and most of them are the disbelievers", that is, among Allah's blessings upon mankind is that He has made shadows for them from the trees and the buildings, has made caves from the mountains in order to save them from the rain and the wind or to isolate themselves from others and take refuge in as Allah's Messenger used to worship Allah in the cave of Hiraa and spend nights therein, Allah has also made garments for them which protect them from the heat and has made armors of iron which protect them in the battle so that they do not get wounded, then Allah confirms that He has completed His bounty upon you so that you may submit to Him, acknowledge His bounty, and offer gratitude to Him. Allah addresses His Messenger and says if they turned away and refused to submit to Allah, then is not upon Him except to convey Allah's Message to them and they bear the result of their disbelief and denial. Although they recognize the favors of Allah and know that Allah is the Sustainer, but they deny it and worship others than Him, so most of them are the disbelievers.

Allah says in the next two verses (84,85) "And the day when We will resurrect from every nation a witness, then it will not be permitted to the disbelievers, nor will they be asked to appease, and when those who wronged see the punishment, it will not be lightened for them, nor will they be given any respite", that is, Allah tells about the condition of the disbelievers on the day of resurrection when He will resurrect from every nation a witness who is its Messenger, bearing witness against them regarding what He has conveyed to them, then the permission will not be given to the disbelievers to offer excuse, nor will they be asked to appease by offering excuses, and it will be said to them "O! you who disbelieved, do not make excuses today, only you will be recompensed for what you used to do" as mentioned in Aya (7) of Surat Altahrim, and when the disbelievers who wronged themselves with disbelief and stubbornness see the punishment of Hellfire before their eyes, the punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be given any respite to repent and believe; because the rule of Allah that has passed among His servants is that repentance will not be accepted at the time of death or on the day of resurrection as mentioned in Aya (85) of Surat Ghafir.

Allah says in the next three verses (86-88) "And when those who associated see their partners, they will say our Lord these are our partners whom we used to call besides You, but they will throw the saying at them, indeed, you are liars, and they will offer to Allah that day submission, and lost from them is that which they used to invent, and those who disbelieved and prevented from the way of Allah, We will increase them a punishment over the punishment for what corruption they were causing", that is, when the polytheists who associate partners with Allah see the idols whom they invoke besides Allah in the worldly life, they will say to Allah these are our partners whom we used to call besides You in the worldly life, but these idols will disavow them and will return the saying back to them saying you are liars, so they have taken false gods besides Allah in order to attain honor and glory through them, but these idols whom they invoke in the worldly life will be their enemies and will disavow them as mentioned in Ayat (81,82) of Surat Maryam, thereupon, they will submit to Allah on the day of resurrection, and what they used to invoke of false gods and idols will gone away from them, and will not benefit them. Then Allah threatens those who disbelieved in Him, His Messengers, and His books, and prevented others from the way of Allah that He will increase them a punishment over the punishment on the day of resurrection for what corruption they were causing; Because they will bear their burdens in full, and some of the burdens of those whom they misguide without knowledge as shown above in Aya (25).

Allah says in the next two verses (89,90) "And the day when We will resurrect from every nation a witness over them from themselves, and We will bring You as a witness over these, and We have sent down to You the book as a clarification for everything and as a guidance and mercy and glad tidings for the Muslims, indeed, Allah enjoins the justice and the good, and giving the relatives, and forbids the immorality and the evil and the tyranny, and admonishes you so that you may be reminded", that is, Allah addresses His Messenger and says that He will resurrect from every nation a Messenger as a witness over them, and Allah will bring His Messenger (PBUH) to the people of Quraish as a witness regarding what He has sent Him with, then Allah assures His Messenger that He has sent the Holy Quran as a clarification for everything, including information of what came before and what will come, the rulings of everything, the lawful and the forbidden, and what people need in the matter of their world and religion, and a guidance, mercy, and glad tidings for the believers who believe in Allah, His Messengers, and His books with a great reward in Paradise on the day resurrection. Then Allah assures that He enjoins justice when dealing with others, doing good to them even if they harm you, and giving the relatives their right of charity, and the best charity is what is given to the poor relative, where Allah's Messenger said in narration of Salman Bin Amer: "Charity given to the needy is charity, and if it is given to relatives, it is two charity and ties of kinship" (Sunan Ibn Majah 1844). And Allah forbids the immorality and the evil such as adultery and shameful acts, and the oppression of others, and as narrated by Abu Bakrah: "The Prophet (PBUH) said there is no sin more fitted to have punishment meted out by Allah to its perpetrator in advance in the world along with what He stores up for him in the Hereafter than oppression and severing ties of relationship" (Abu Dawood 4902), so Allah enjoins good morals and forbids bad morals so that they may be reminded: Because the polytheists of Quraish were a people of good morals, and Allah only enjoins what is good, and forbids only what is evil.

Allah says in the next two verses (91,92) ''And fulfill the covenant of Allah when you have taken a covenant, and Do not break oaths after its confirmation, and verily, you have made Allah over you a surety, indeed, Allah knows what you are doing, and Do not be like she who untwisted her yarn after it was strong, taking your oaths as deceit between you because one community is more numerous than another community, Allah only tested you thereby, and He will surely make clear to you on the day of resurrection what you used to differ in it'', that is, Allah enjoins upon mankind other good morals and commanded them to keep the covenant of Allah, if they have taken a covenant with Him or with the people, and to fulfill their oaths, and not to break the oaths after its affirmation, while they have made Allah a witness over them, then Allah threatens them and says that He knows while they do not know the consequences of breaking their oaths, but Allah will not impose blame upon mankind for meaningless in his oaths, but He will impose blame upon them for breaking what they intended of oaths, and He has made the expiation of the intentionally oaths if they have broken it, and commanded them to guard their oaths as He has stated in Aya (89) of Surat Alma'idah, and Allah's Messenger said in narration of Zahdam: "By Allah, if Allah wills, if I take an oath and then later find another thing better than that, I do what is better, and make expiation for the oath" (Sahih Albukhari 6721). Then Allah likened those who break their oath after its affirmation to a woman who used to untwist her yarn after it was strong, so He commanded them not to be like this woman, and break their covenant and oaths as deceit and betrayal between them and those they made a covenant with, by breaking their alliance and turning away from them to others because others are more numerous and more powerful than them, and Allah's Messenger said in narration of Ibn Umar: "A banner will be hoisted for a treacherous man on the day of resurrection, it will then be announced this is a treachery of so-and-so, son of so-and-so" (Abu Dawood 2756).

And as narrated by Abu Alfaid from Sulaym bin Amir, a man from Himyar said: "There was a covenant between Mu'awiyah and the Byzantines, and He was going towards their country, and when the covenant came to an end, He attacked them, a man came on a horse or a pack-horse saying Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar: Allah is Most Great, Allah is Most Great, Let there be faithfulness and not treachery, and when they looked they found that he was Amr bin Abasah, Mu'awiyah sent for him and questioned him about that, He said I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) says When one has covenant with people, he must not strengthen or loosen it till its term comes to an end or he brings it to an end in agreement with them, so Mu'awiyah returned" (Abu Dawood 2759). Allah is only testing you by commanding you to fulfill Allah's covenant if you make a covenant, so that the obedient among you who adheres to His commands and prohibitions may be distinguished from the disobedient one who disobeys His commands and prohibitions, and He will make clear to you on the day of resurrection what you used to differ in of monotheism and resurrection, so He will recompense each one for his deeds, whether good or evil.

Allah says in the next three verses (93-95) "And if Allah had willed, He would have made you one religion, but He lets go astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills, and you will surely be questioned about what you used to do, and Do not take your oaths as a deceit between you lest a foot slip after it was firm, and you would taste evil for what you prevented from the way of Allah, and for you there will be a great punishment, and Do not exchange the covenant of Allah for a small price, indeed, what is with Allah is better for you if you know", that is, if Allah had willed, He would have made the people on one religion either on guidance or on misguidance, but He made them different, so He guides whom He wills to the truth and leads astray whom He wills, and they all will surely be questioned on the day of resurrection about what they used to do in the worldly life, then Allah warns again from breaking oaths and says Do not take your oaths as a deceit and betrayal between you lest a foot slip after it was firm, so you moved from a good state to an evil state, and deviated from guidance and uprightness to misguidance, thereupon, you will be punished on the worldly life for you have prevented others from the way of Allah; Because if the infidel sees that the believer has made a covenant with him and then betrayed him, he no longer has confidence in the religion, and because of him he refrained from entering Islam, then Allah threatens those who break their covenants and oaths with a great punishment in the Hereafter, and Allah warns His servants from exchanging the covenant of Allah for the sake of the worldly life and its adornment for it remains a little price even it is a lot because it will perish quickly, and what is with Allah of bliss in the Hereafter is better and more lasting than what they have given in the worldly if they know.

Allah says in the next two verses (96,97) "Whatever you have will be exhausted, but what Allah has is lasting, and We will surely give those who were patient their reward according to the best of what they used to do, whoever does righteous deeds whether male or female while he is a believer, then We will surely make him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward according to the best of what they used to do", that is, Allah assures again that the bliss he has is permanent and more lasting as whatever you have will be exhausted and will come to an end, but what Allah has in the Hereafter is lasting, so His reward for you in Paradise is eternal without interruption or exhaustion, and Allah will give the people of patience their reward in full in the Hereafter for what they met of hardships in the worldly life in order to obey Allah and His Messenger, and He will reward them for the best of what they have done, and will overlook their evil deeds. Then Allah promises whoever does righteous deeds whether male or female while he is a believer that He will make him live a good life, and Allah's Messenger said in narration of Amr bin Al'as: "He is successful who has accepted Islam, who has been provided with sufficient for his need, and Allah made him contented by what He has given him" (Sahih Muslim 1054), and Allah will give the believers their reward in the Hereafter for the best of what they have done in the worldly life, and will overlook their evil deeds, and Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said in narration of Anas bin Malik: "Indeed, Allah does not wrong a believer for a good deed, for which he is given in this world and rewarded for it in the hereafter, and as for the disbeliever, he will taste the reward of the good deeds he did for Allah in this world, until when he leads to the Hereafter, he has no good deed with which to be rewarded" (Sahih Muslim 2808 a), so it will be said to the disbelievers on the day of resurrection "You exhausted your good things in your worldly life, and you have enjoyed them" as mentioned in Aya (20) of Surat Alahqaf.

Allah says in the next three verses (98-100) "So when You recite the Quran, seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan, indeed, there is for him no authority over those who believe, and put their trust upon their Lord, his authority is over those who take him as a guardian and those who associate with Him", that is, Allah commanded His Messenger (PBUH) to seek refuge in Him from the accursed Satan when beginning to read the Holy Quran lest Satan confuses His reading and prevents Him from contemplating its verses, then Allah assures that the accursed Satan has no authority over the faithful servants who believe in Allah, His Messengers, and His books, act in obedience to Him, put their trust in Allah alone, and rely upon Him in all their affairs for Allah will protect them from the accursed Satan, but his authority is over those who take him as a guardian besides Allah and follow his footsteps, so they associate partners with Allah of false gods and idols.

Allah says in the next two verses (101,102) ''And when We replace a verse in place of a verse, and Allah knows best what He sends down, they say You are but an inventor, but most of them do not know, Say the Holy Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in truth to make firm those who believe and as a guidance and glad tidings to the Muslims", that is, Allah addresses His Messenger and says that when He abrogates the ruling of a verse, then replace it with another ruling, the polytheists said to Allah's Messenger You are an inventor and they accused Him of lying, thereupon, Allah assures that He knows best of what is best for His creation in what He alters of its rulings, but most of them do not know for Allah does not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that He brings forth one better than it or similar to it as mentioned in Aya (106) of Surat Albaqarah, so Allah commanded His Messenger to say to them that the Holy Quran was sent down by Gabriel (The Holy Spirit) from Allah in truth in order to make firm those who believe and strengthen their faith, so they believe in the entire Quran, and the Holy Quran is a guidance for them to the right path, and glad tidings of Allah's forgiveness and mercy to the Muslims who submitted to Allah, so they follow His commands and prohibitions, and what He revealed in any verse of His Book, so they acknowledged all of it.

Allah says in the next three verses (103-105) "And We certainly know that they say it is only a human being who teaches Him, the tongue of the one they refer to is foreign and this is a clear Arabic tongue, indeed, those who do not believe in the verses of AllahAllah will not guide them and for them there is a painful punishment, they only invent falsehood who do not believe in the verses of Allah, and it is those who are the liars", that is, the polytheists of Quraish claimed that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was taught the Holy Quran by a foreigner living in Mecca, so Allah refuted their claim and said that the tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and the Holy Quran was sent down in a clear Arabic tongue, so How can Allah's Messenger who brought the Holy Quran in its eloquence and complete meanings learn from a Non-Arabic man?, thereupon, Allah assures that He will not guide those who do not believe in the Holy Quran and turned away from it, and they will have a painful torment in the Hereafter, and that only those who invent falsehood about the Holy Quran and accuse Allah's Messenger of lying are those who do not believe in the verses of Allah and it is those who are the liars.

Allah says in the next four verses (106-109) "Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief except for one who is forced while his heart is secure in faith, but those who open their breasts to disbelief, upon them is wrath from Allah, and for them there is a great punishment, that is because they preferred the worldly life over the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the disbelieving people, those are the ones whom Allah has sealed over their hearts and their hearing and their sight, and those are the heedless ones, assuredly, it is they, in the Hereafter, who will be the losers", that is, Allah tells about those who disbelieved in Him after their belief and opened their breasts to disbelief that the wrath of Allah is upon them, and they will have a painful torment in the Hereafter, but Allah has made an exception to the one who disbelieved with his tongue and agreed with the polytheists with his words, out of compulsion because of the beatings and harm he received whereas his heart refuses what he says, and he is reassured by faith in Allah and His Messenger. Then Allah assures that those who apostate from their religion deserve the wrath of Allah and the painful torment because they preferred the worldly life and its fleeting pleasures over the Hereafter and its eternal bliss, so what they did of apostasy was for the sake of the worldly life, that Allah does not guide the disbelievers to the right path, and that those are the ones whom Allah has sealed over their hearts, their hearing, and their sight, so they are not aware of anything that will guide them, nor are they hear what will benefit him, nor are they see the arguments that demonstrate Allah's oneness, so they are unaware of what awaits them on the day of resurrection of Allah's wrath and torment, assuredly, they will be the losers in the Hereafter.

Allah says in the next two verses (110-111) "Then indeed, Your Lord, for those who emigrated after they had been tried, then fought, and were patient, indeed, Your Lord after that is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful, the day when every soul will come disputing for itself, and every soul will be paid in full for what it did, and they will not be wronged'', that is, those who went out as emigrants in the way of Allah, and left their homelands, families, and friends after they have been wronged and tried in their religion for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, and for the support of Allah's religion, and they fought the infidels for the sake of Allah, and were patient over the harm they received, then Allah after this trial is All-forgiving, Most Merciful for those who repent, believe, and do righteous deeds, thereupon, Allah accepts the repentance of those who were forced to disbelief, and those who left the religion of Islam then returned to it again as mentioned in Aya (89) of Surat Aliemran, but as for whoever insists on apostasy and refuses to return to Islam, his legal punishment is death where as narrated by Abdullah bin Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah said: "It is not permissible to take the life of a Muslim who bears witness that there is no God but Allah, and that I am the Messenger of Allah except in one of the three cases the married adulterer, a soul for a soul, and the deserter of his religion, abandoning the community" (Sahih Muslim 1676 a). Allah assures that on the day of resurrection, every one will dispute for himself as every person will say my soul my soul! From the severity of the horrors of the day of resurrection and man will flee from his brother, his mother, his father, his wife, and his children as mentioned in Ayat (34-36) of Surat Abasa, and every soul will be paid its recompense in full, each according to his deeds, and they will not be wronged, where the wrongdoers will be recompensed for their evil deeds and nothing will be added to their sins, whereas nothing will be deprived from the reward of the good-doers.

Allah says in the next two verses (112,113) "And Allah has cited an example of a town which was safe and secure, its provision coming to it in abundance from every place, but it denied the favors of Allah, so Allah made it taste the garb of hunger and fear for what they used to do, and indeed, there has come to them a Messenger from among themselves, but they denied Him, so the punishment seized them while they were wrongdoers", that is, Allah cites to the people the example of Mecca which was safe and secure and its provision comes to it in abundance from everywhere, but it denied the favors of Allah, and denied Allah's Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) who was a Messenger from among themselves, so the punishment seized them on the day of the battle of Badr where as mentioned in Aya (57) of Surat Alqasas that the polytheists of Quraish said to Allah's Messenger if we follow the guidance with you, we would be snatched away from our land, then Allah said to them Do they not see that We established for them a secure sanctuary to which fruits of everything are brought, a provision from Us?, thereupon, Allah made them taste the garb of hunger and fear for what they used to do, and they were afraid after security and hungry after prosperity, where as narrated by Masruq that Abdullah Bin Mas'ud said: "Allah's Messenger invited Quraish to embrace Islam, but they delayed their response, so He said: O Allah! Help Me against them by sending on them seven years of famine similar to the seven years of famine of Joseph, so the famine year overtook them and everything was destroyed till they ate dead animals and skins. People started imagining to see smoke between them and the sky because of severe hunger, so that Allah said to His Messenger "Then, wait the day when the sky will bring a visible smoke, enveloping the people, this is a painful punishment", then they invoked Allah and said "Our Lord, remove from us the punishment, indeed, we are believers". They claimed that they would believe if the punishment was removed from them, but Allah confirmed that they would return to disbelief again and said "How will there be for them a reminder, and verily there had come to them a clear Messenger, then they turned away from Him and said taught, madman, indeed, We will remove the punishment, a little, indeed, you will return", and when it was said: Will the punishment be removed on the day of resurrection?, Abdullah added: The punishment was removed from them for a while but they reverted to disbelief, so Allah destroyed them on the day of the battle of Badr, whereupon Allah revealed: "The day We will seize the greatest seizure, indeed, We will take retribution" (Sahih Albukhari 4809).

Allah says in the next two verses (114,115) "So Eat of what Allah has provided for you, lawful and good, and be grateful for the favor of Allah if it is Him that you worship, He has only forbidden to you the dead and the blood and the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah, but whoever is forced, neither desiring nor transgressing, then indeed, Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful'', that is, Allah commanded the believers to eat of what Allah has provided for them of lawful and good provision, and to give thanks to Him for the blessings He has bestowed upon them if they worship Him alone for the polytheists used to forbid things through other than Allah as mentioned above in Aya (35), thereupon, Allah makes clear to His servants what He has forbidden to them as He has only forbidden for them the dead animals, the blood, and pig meat and fat, whether slaughtered or dead pig, and what is slaughtered for their false gods and idols and slaughtered in other than the name of Allah, but Allah has permitted for the Muslims two kinds of the dead, and two kinds of the blood where Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said in narration of Abdullah bin Umar: "Two kinds of dead meat and two kinds of blood have been permitted to us, the two kinds of dead meat are fish and locusts, and the two kinds of blood are the liver and spleen" (Sunan Ibn Majah 3314). But Allah made an exception and permitted eating from these unlawful foods when necessary, when the Muslim lacked other food and was forced to do so without his choice, neither desiring the unlawful food nor transgressing the limits of Allah, then Allah is All-Forgiving for eating what is forbidden, Most Merciful when He makes the forbidden permissible for Him in times of necessity.

Allah says in the next two verses (116,117) "And Do not say about what your tongues describe of the lie this is lawful and this is unlawful so that you may invent the lie about Allah, indeed, those who invent the lie about Allah will not succeed, a little enjoyment and for them there is a painful punishment", that is, the polytheists of Quraish used to make lawful and forbidden things for the sake of their false idols as they vowed some cattle to their idols and permitted what Allah has made forbidden, and forbade what Allah has permitted, so Allah commanded them not to invent a lie about Him by saying this is lawful and this is unlawful, and He threatens them that they will not succeed, and they will enjoy a little in the worldly life, and for them there is a painful punishment in the Hereafter.

Allah says in the next two verses (118,119) "And to those who are Jews we have forbidden that which We related to You before, and We did not wrong them, but they were wronging themselves, then indeed, Your Lord, for those who have done evil out of ignorance, and then repent thereafter and reform, indeed, Your Lord, thereafter, is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful'', that is, Allah addresses His Messenger and says that He has narrated to Him before what He has forbidden to the Jews, and Allah did not wrong them but they were wronging themselves by transgression and violation of Allah's commands, where Allah has revealed to His Messenger in Aya (146) of Surat Alan'am that He has prohibited to the Jews every animal of claws, and of the cows and the sheep He has prohibited to them their fat except what their backs carried or the entrails or what is joined with bone, then Allah assures that He is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful for those who have done the evil out of ignorance then they repented after that and reformed by giving up the sins they had committed, and beginning to perform acts of obedience.

Allah says in the next three verses (120-122) "Indeed, Abraham was a possessor of virtue, obedient to Allah, upright, and He was not of the polytheists, grateful for His favors, He chose Him and guided Him to a straight path, and we gave Him good in this world, and indeed, in the Hereafter He will be among the righteous", that is, Allah tells about His Prophet Abraham, peace be upon Him, and says that He was a man who combines all qualities of goodness and good characters, obedient to Allah, upright as He used to teach the people their religion, enjoin good, and forbid evil, He was not of the polytheists, but rather He devoted Himself to worship Allah alone with no partner, and He was grateful to Allah for His favors that He has bestowed upon Him, so He used to obey Allah in His commands and prohibitions and hasten to please Him; For gratitude does not occur through tongue, but rather through actions and obedience, while praising Allah occurs through the tongue, therefore, Allah says in Aya (13) of Surat Saba' "O family of David! Work in gratitude". Thereupon, Allah has chosen the Prophet Abraham for the Divine Message, and taken Him as a friend as mentioned in Aya (125) of Surat Alnisaa, and Allah has guided Him to a straight path which is the worship of Allah alone with no partner, so Allah has gathered for Him the bliss of the worldly life and the Hereafter as He gave Him good in the worldly life through the prophecy and Scripture that were rooted in His progeny along with His son Isaac and His grandson Jacob, and He will be among the righteous who will have a higher degrees in Paradise in the Hereafter.

Allah says in the next two verses (123,124) "Then We revealed to You that Follow the religion of Abraham, upright, and He was not of the polytheists, the sabbath was only appointed for those who differed over it, and indeed, Your Lord will judge between them on the day of resurrection in what they used to differ in it", that is, Allah addresses His Messenger Muhammad (PBUH) and says that He has revealed to Him that Follow the religion of the Prophet Abraham who was upright and was not of the polytheists, so Disavow the idols and the false gods that Quraish worshipped as the Prophet Abraham disavowed His people including His father. Then Allah tells about the Jews when He decreed for them through their Prophet Moses, peace be upon Him, Friday as a day on which they would gather for worship, but they differ in it, and chose Saturday instead, so Allah appointed the Sabbath for them and commanded them to adhere to it, where the Messenger of Allah Muhammad (PBUH) said in narration of Abu Hurayrah: "We are the last, but We would be the first on the day of resurrection, and We would be the first to enter Paradise, but that they were given the book before Us and We were given after them. They disagreed and Allah guided us aright on whatever they disagreed regarding the truth, and it was this day of theirs about which they disagreed, but Allah guided us to it, and that Friday for us, the next day is for the Jews, and the day following for the Christians" (Sahih Muslim 855 c), So Allah will judge between them on the day of resurrection in what they used to differ therein of beliefs and deeds.

Allah says in the next two verses (125,126) "Call to the way of Your Lord with wisdom and good admonition, and argue with them in a way that is best, indeed, your Lord knows best he who has gone astray from His way, and He knows best those who are guided, and if you punish, then Punish with the like of what you were punished with, and if you are patient, it is better for those who are patient", that is, Allah commanded His Messenger to call to the way of Allah with wisdom and good admonition which He revealed to Him in the Holy Quran, and to argue with them in a away that is best which is explaining Allah's proofs and arguments in a gentle and good speech, so He has to convey Allah's message to them, and Allah knows best those who went astray from His way, and those who are guided. Allah has permitted Muslims to take revenge on those who wronged them with the same of what befell them where He says in Aya (194) of Surat Albaqarah "So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you", but if they were patient, then it is better in reward for those who are patient; for whoever pardons and makes reconciliation, then his reward is upon Allah as mentioned in Aya (40) of Surat Alshura.

Allah says in the last two verses (127,128) "And Be patient, and Your patience is not but through Allah, and Do not grieve over them, and Do not be in distress over what they plot, indeed, Allah is with those who fear, and those who are good doers", that is, Allah commanded His Messenger to be patient over the harm He met in the way of Allah, and His patience is only with Allah's help, not to grieve over the polytheists who deny Him and deny what He has brought them form Allah, and not to be in distress over what they say out of ignorance as they used to accuse Him of poetry, magic, soothsaying, and used to prevent others from the way of Allah, then Allah assures that He is the Supporter for those who fear Him and fear His punishment, so they follow his commands and avoid His prohibitions, and He will support the good doers who worship Allah as if they see Him, and if they can not see Him, then Allah sees them, so they act according to Allah's commands and prohibitions.
