A conversation between Allah and Satan

    When Allah, Almighty, said to Iblis (Satan) go down from paradise, for it is not for you to be arrogant therein, so get out, indeed, you are of the disgraced ones, Iblis said to Allah: Do you see this one whom you have honored and placed over me?, if you grant me respite till the day of resurrection, I will surely destroy his progeny except for a few.

     Here Iblis asked Allah to give him respite up to the day they (the deed) shall be raised to spiritual life, then Allah said to him: you are indeed of the ones given respite till the day of which the time well-known, then Iblis said: My Lord, because you have condemned me as astray, I will surely adorn for them evils on the earth, and I will mislead them all, except, among them, your sincere servants (your chosen and purified ones), then I will come upon them from their front and from their backs, and from their right and from their left, and you will not find most of them grateful. 

    then Allah said to him: go, for whoever of them follows you, indeed, Hellfire (Jahannam) will be the recompense of you all, an ample recompense, and entice whomsoever of them you can with your voice, and rally against them your cavalry ( horsemen ), and your infantry (footmen) , and be a partner in their wealth and their children, and make promises to them. But Satan promises them nothing but delusion.

    And Allah said to Satan: indeed, my servants you have no authority over them, except those of the deviators who follow you. And indeed, hell is the promised place for such of them all, it has seven gates, for each gate there is a assigned portion from them.
