The son of Adam's lies and abuse |
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah May Allah be pleased with him, who said that the messenger of Allah peace be upon him said:
Allah Almighty has said: the son of Adam denied Me and he had not right to do so, and he reviled Me and he had no right to do so, as for his denying Me: it is his saying He will not remake me as He made me at first(1), and the initial creation of him is no easier for Me than remaking him. As for his reviling Me: it is his saying Allah has taking to Himself a son while I am the One, the Everlasting refuge, I begot not nor was I begotten, and there is none comparable to Me.
(1)-i.e., bring me back to life after death.
It was related by Albukhary, also by Alnasa'i.
Commentary:
Here in this Hadith, Allah, Almighty, talks about polytheists and disbelievers who said shall we really come into a new creation, after when we disappear in the earth? And once we are reduces to bones and dust, is it then that we shall be raised and created a new?.
The answer comes from Allah, and it has been mentioned in many verses of the Holy Quran, where Allah said to them: yes, even if you reduced to stones or iron, or any creation yet more hard in your mind (that can possibly conceive). The same who originated you the first time, who will restore you to the life, and the initial creation of human is no easier than remaking him.
And in the second section of this hadith Allah, Almighty, talks about the Jews and Christians for He says in the Holy Quran: the Jews said Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians said Messiah (Juses) is the son of Allah, and then by their saying, they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before (infidels).
The answer here comes from Surat Alikhlas, Surat number 112 of the Holy Quran, where Allah says that He is the One, the Everlasting refuge, He begot not nor was He begotten, and there is none comparable to Him.
