The story of Adam's descent to the earth

 The story of Adam's descent to the earth is a continuation of the story of creation of Adam  when Allah honored Adam by commanding the angels to prostrate before him, so they all complied except Iblis, then Adam fell asleep, and Allah took one of Adam's left ribs and made flesh grow in its place, while Adam was asleep and unaware, Allah then created Adam's wife Hawwa (Eve) from his rib and made her a woman, so that she could be a comfort to him. When Adam woke up and saw Hawwa next to him, it was claimed, he said, my flesh and blood, my wife, Hence, Adam reclined with Hawwa.

 Then Allah honored Adam again and said to him O Adam dwell you and your wife in the garden and eat you both from whatever you will (when and where you like), but do not you both even approach this tree lest you both be among the transgressors (wrongdoers). 

 Here Allah Forbade Adam and his wife from eating from a certain tree in paradise, we do not know that tree for it has not been given a specific name either in the Holy Quran or in the Hadith. But what happened that satan (shaitan) whispered to both of them (evil suggestion) to make apparent to them that which was concealed from them of their private parts, and he said to them "your Lord forbade you from this tree only lest you become angels or become of the immortals.

 According to the Holy Quran, it was satan who caused them to slip, it clearly shows that the error and disobedience of Adam and Hawwa was not of the kind which technically constitutes a sin, but arose out of a misunderstanding produced by satan, and he ardently swore to them both saying, indeed,  I am to you from among the sincere advisors, thus he led them on the way of guile and deceit, and made them fall. 

 And when they both tasted of the tree, their private area (their shame) became apparent to both of them, and they in order to cover themselves began to fasten the leaves of the paradise over themselves. Our prophet Muhammad (PBUH) told us that when Adam saw his private area, he ran away in paradise and his hair got caught in a tree. He tried to free himself and Allah called him: O Adam! are you running away from me? when Adam heard the words of Allah, he said no, O my Lord but I am shy.

 Then their Lord called out to them both "Did I not forbid you from that tree, and I say to you both that satan is to you both a clear enemy?. They said, our Lord, we have done injustice to ourselves, and if you do not forgive us and do not have mercy upon us, we shall surely be among the losers.

 Allah (God) said "get down from it (paradise), some of you are enemies of others. And for you on the earth is a habitation and livelihood for a time". by means of dwelling, sustenance and limited life, until the commencement of the day of resurrection   for Allah said after that "therein you will live, and in it you will die, and from it you shall be brought forth (in the hereafter) .
